This program reminded me that in my country, we have a program named " My farmer". it teaches the people who is living in the fields to plant, or raise animals like chickens, pigs, and cows.
The government visited different places and they selected what places star with the program, people firstable took classes for 4 months after they have to work in community .
they could see theirs efforts when harvest corn, rice, beans, after that they can sell their products and in that way they help their familes.
Hi, Omaira!
ReplyDeleteAre you comparing this program in Panama to Heifer International? Well, I am assuming so.
I think the most important thing here is to provide the knowledge and resources so that those in need can become independent.
We should do the same thing with our students: guide them into becoming independent learners.
